Lisa Richter is an award-winning poet, writer,  creative writing workshop facilitator, and English as a second language teacher. Her highly acclaimed first collection of poetry, Closer to Where We Began, was published by Tightrope Books in 2017. Her poetry and non-fiction have been featured in both journals and anthologies, including The Malahat Review, CV2, Literary Review of Canada, The Puritan, and Crab Creek Review. Her chapbook, Intertextual, was published by Pooka Press in 2010. Her second collection of poetry is forthcoming in Fall 2020 with Frontenac House.

She lives, writes, and teaches English as a second language in Toronto, Canada.
